New features & Enhancements
Improved Experience when Adding or Editing Expenses/Mileage
- When adding an Expense or Mileage claim, it is possible to include multiple lines on each claim.
- Each of those lines can contain a number of fields, depending on each customer’s configuration.
- Our customers fed back that employees found it difficult to discern where the fields for one line ended and those for the next line began
- As a result, we have made improvements to the user experience when Adding or Editing Expense or Mileage Claims to provide improved visual separation between the fields for each line.
- This experience is consistent across both the Expenses and Mileage functions.
Approver field added to Employee View
- The ‘View’ page on the Employee Card displays a range of information about the Employee in one place, suitable for printing or saving as a comprehensive record.
- Customers fed back that the ‘Approver’ field was missing from this view, and that it would be useful to have it included.
- We have added this field to the ‘View’ page under the job Details’ heading, alongside other similar fields such as the Manager and Head of Department
Integration with Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
- Following requests from customers, we have created an integration between HRWize and Azure Active Directory (now known as Microsoft Entra ID)
- This integration allows key user data to be transferred from HRWize into a linked Azure AD instance, in order to create, update and disable users.
- This removes the need to duplicate data entry when setting up users in HRWize and Azure AD and mitigates the associated risks of erroneous entry.
- The integration includes the following actions:
- Creates a user in Azure Active Directory when a user is created in HRWize.
- Updates a user in Azure Active Directory when a synced user is updated in HRWize.
- Disables a user in Azure Active Directory when a synced user is disabled or deleted in HRWize.
- As part of this integration, we have added two pages for use by Administrator users:
- Azure Integration Settings
(Admin > Company> Settings > Azure Integration Settings)
This allows users to specify the ‘Allowed Domains’ which can be sent to Azure and any additional fields to be sent alongside the mandatory fields
- Azure User Sync Event Log
(Admin > Company > Event Logging > Azure User Sync)
This allows users to view information about events sent to Azure, their status (pending/success/failed), error reasons, and resend them if necessary
- Please contact Support or Account Management for further information on this integration.
