New features & Enhancements

Planner: Colour scheme matches custom Calendar Options

  • The Planner has been updated so it will now reflect the custom colours that have been selected for the Calendar
  • Custom colours can be configure within Calendar Options
  • Administration > Company > Options > Calendar Options

Planner: Additional filter options

  • New filter options have been added to the Planner to allow greater flexibility when using this feature
  • New filters available :
    • Job Title
    • Manager
    • Department
    • Site
    • Business Unit
    • Company
    • Cost Centre

Planner: Adding the Planner for Managers

  • Previously we had the option to only display the planner for HR / Admin Users or All employees
  • Following customer feedback, we have amended this functionality so that Managers can now see the Planner, even when it has not been enabled for all employees
  • When Planner visible to employees has been set to No, Manager will still be able to see the Planner
  • We will check the Managers view whole reporting line field to determine if the manager will see all employees in the Planner, or just their direct reports
  • If the ‘Managers view whole reporting line’ field has been set to Direct reports only, Manager will not see the new filter options

Job Location renamed to Site throughout the system

All references to Job Location have been renamed to Site ensuring consistency throughout the system

Core Fixes

Send New Form steps in Workflows produce incorrect link on emails sent to employeesIssue resolved, the same link will now be used in emails and tasks within the system

Interview times displayed in candidate facing ‘Interview’ page are -1 hour outIssue resolved, interview times now display correctly

Working hours don’t save correctly when time off isn’t being used in the systemIssue resolved which was preventing working hours from being saved when no time off types exist

Email steps causing issues in approval workflowsIssue resolved which was resulting in request statuses being updated incorrectly in some Workflows

Emails not sent for subsequent Require Approval steps in Approval workflowsIssue resolved which was preventing emails from being sent where more than one Require Approval steps existed

Rejecting candidates causes a post to be generated on the social stream: Issue resolved which was resulting in blank posts being generated on the social stream when candidates were rejected from requisitions

Manager only announcements sent by email to non-managersIssue resolved which was resulting in manager only announcements being sent to non-managers

New UI : Actions not displaying on Templates table for Offer LettersIssue resolved which was causing Actions to be hidden for offer letter templates


New UI Enhancements

New UI : To Do List Notifications

Previously the To Do list would display a red notification bubble when new tasks existed. The notification bubble would then be cleared once those tasks had been viewed. This meant there could still be outstanding tasks in the To Do list but no notification bubble would display.

We have updated this functionality so that the red notification bubble will now be displayed whenever an outstanding task exists.

The number within the red notification bubble will reflect the number of outstanding tasks in the To Do list.

We have made this change to provide greater visibility of tasks which require the users attention, reducing the likelihood of important tasks being missed.

New UI : To Do List & Announcements Displayed on Login

We have added new functionality to display the To Do list or Announcements when users login to the system.

When this functionality is enabled, we will check if there are any outstanding tasks in the To Do list or any unread Announcements. If there are, we will display the To Do list or Announcements when the user logs in.

  • If the user has both To Do’s and Announcements, we will display the To Do list
  • If the user has no To Do’s but does have unread Announcements, we will display
    Announcements instead

This functionality has been added to ensure important tasks and updates aren’t missed.

Configuration:

To configure this functionality go to :

  • Administration > Company > Settings > Company Settings > Notifications
  • You’ll find a new field called ‘Display To do list & Announcements on login
  • This field will default to ‘Yes  1st login only’ but can be changed
  • This is a global setting meaning it will apply to all users

Options available :

  • Yes  1st login only
    (enables the functionality for all users and displays To do’s or Announcements on the 1st log in of each day)
  • Yes - Every login
    (enables the functionality for all users and displays To do’s or Announcements on every log in)
  • No
    (disables the functionality for all users)

New UI: To Do List Toggle for All Tasks / My Tasks

  • We’ve added new functionality to the To Do list to allow Admin users / HR users to filter their tasks
  • Currently HR users / Admin users have visibility of other users tasks which can make it difficult to identify which tasks actually require their attention
  • The new toggle will allow them to filter between All Tasks / My Tasks
  • The All Tasks / My Tasks toggle will only be available to HR users / Admin users
  • The toggle will default to All Tasks, users can then switch the toggle to My Tasks to show only the tasks where they are the assigne


New UI Fixes

Calendar : Team SearchIssue resolved which was preventing users from searching for multiple team members before selecting Apply

Calendar : Reset Filter OptionsIssue resolved which was causing the Reset option within the Calendar filter menu to deselect all filter options

Calendar : Team Filter: Issue resolved which was resulting in the logged in user not appearing in the Team Filter list

Time Off : Remaining BalanceThe new time off modal has been updated to only show the remaining balance for the Time off Type selected rather than all time off balances

Time TrackingTypo corrected within the Time Tracking section of the right hand navigation menu
