There is an option to set up the tracking of Geo location when an employee clocks in using the time tracking feature.
This will need to be enabled by going to:
Administration > Company > Settings > Time tracking settings
In the General settings section, set the "Use Geolocation for web clock in/out" option to 'Yes'.
This means that any clock in and clock out using the web client will track the geo location of the device in use.
Please Note - This does not work on our iPad/QR feature as the QR device is in one location.
When the user first uses this, they will be asked to allow us to track their location – they MUST select 'Yes'. If they choose no, then the location will not be tracked.
Employees should only be asked once to allow us to track their location.
