We’re improving your login security.
From Wednesday, April 15th 2026, HRWize will require two-factor authentication (also known as multi-factor authentication) to access your account.
This change is part of our ongoing commitment to keeping your data safe and secure
Frequently asked questions
What is 2FA?
2FA (multi-factor authentication) adds an extra step when you log in to keep your account more secure.
You'll need:
- Something you know: your password
- Something you have: a time-based code from your authenticator app.
Even if your password is stolen, this second factor keeps your account protected.
Will logging in take longer?
After entering your usual login details, you'll enter a six-digit code from your authenticator app. The whole process takes just a few seconds.
Which 2FA method should I use?
2FA will work with an authenticator app, such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator. These apps offer the best balance of security, speed, and reliability.
What if I can't access my phone?
Don't worry — just contact your HRWize administrator or our support team. We'll help you verify your identity and reset your 2FA.
What if I have SSO already?
If you're currently using Single Sign-On (SSO) to access your systems, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) should still be implemented as the initial access point to your local network. This setup should not be configured within your HCM or payroll system, as outlined in the guide.
Instead, 2FA must be set up within your own network environment. We strongly recommend consulting with your local IT team to ensure this is correctly configured.
Why do I need 2FA?
2FA is one of the most effective ways to prevent unauthorized access. It's widely used across industries and strongly recommended as a security best practice.
Does everyone in my organization need to use 2FA?
We will mandate admin level users and above to have 2FA in place.
I already have an authenticator app, can I use this?
Yes. Authenticator apps allow you to store multiple accounts, so you can keep all your secure logins in one place.
What if my code doesn't work?
Check that your phone's time and date settings are set to automatic. If the code still doesn't work, try refreshing it, or contact the support team if you're still having trouble.
