'X does not exist or is ambiguous' Bulk Upload Error

When performing a bulk upload it isn't uncommon to see error messages stating that one of the fields you've entered is ambiguous, this just means that the system cannot find the item you're referring to in your CSV. This most commonly happens when using the Employee Name option in the Employee Field as sometimes employees can have common names, for this reason we recommend using the System ID or Works ID instead as these are always unique numbers.

In cases where this error appears for a field which is not the employee name it is most likely caused by a spelling error or a mistake in the item name, they must match exactly with what you have in the system.
