How to Stop a Workflow from a Leaver

In some circumstances, if an employee has an ongoing workflow but this employee is made a leaver, the workflow will not stop. The reason for this to happen is because if we take the example of an offboarding workflow, you want the steps to continue triggering even if the employee has left your company.

To avoid any workflows that are still ongoing, you will have to delete the workflow directly from their file.

To do this, go to:

People > Employees

Click on Archived.

Then, go to your Actions column, and click on Workflows:

From there, click on the View action button to view the workflow overview of this employee's workflow:

Make sure you delete all the steps.
