Create and Send a Survey to a Specific Site or Department

HRWize has the ability to create and use forms for collecting information from your candidates and employees. These forms can be used on their own or as part of a workflow. One of the form types is a Survey. By default, when you create a Survey form, it is automatically and immediately accessible for completion by all of your employees.


However, you may wish to send a survey to just employees in a specified department or site. To do this, you can send the survey form via a Continuous or Task workflow. Before you do this you need to edit your existing or create a new survey form by going to :

Administration > Company or HR > Form builder

In this example, the form name is Employee survey. Choose Yes from the Only usable in workflow option. Then click Submit to finish. The survey is no longer automatically accessible to all employees.

You can then create a Continuous or Task workflow by going to: 

Administration > HR > Workflows

 In this Task workflow, the Employee survey form will be accessible to the specified 'Site':

 Then, in the workflow step, send the form to all employees on that site:

 In this Continuous workflow, the Employee survey form will be accessible to a specified Department:

Then all the employees in that department only. 

Whichever one you choose, you would typically only create one after you have created the workflow (Continuous or Task), you will then see the workflow.

You can see the Continuous workflow is restricted to one department, the task workflow is restricted to a single site.
