In HRWize, you have the ability to start an offboarding workflow on a particular exit reason.
For information on how to create an exit reason, please click here.
To link a workflow to an exit reason, simply go to:
Administration > HR > Data management > Exit reasons
You can add a new exit reason by clicking on Add, or you can edit one of current exit reasons by clicking on the Edit action button.
Go to the workflow field, and enter your mouse cursor into the field. This will provide you with a drop-down of available workflows you can use to link to this exit reason.
Once you have made an employee a leaver and have selected the relevant reason, it will then automatically trigger the offboarding workflow.
A workflow can be attached to more than one exit reason and different workflows can be used for different reasons. In other words, you may have an offboarding workflow for your voluntary reasons and a separate workflow for all your involuntary reasons.
Please Note - If you have any restrictions on your workflow to not include particular categories even if the employee falls within those categories and even if the exit reason is selected, this will not work for the employee, resulting in your workflow to not trigger.
