To create an automated message that will send to the candidate once you have rejected their candidacy, you can go to:
Administration > Company > Settings > Recruitment Settings
Towards the bottom of that page, there is a "Candidate Reject" section.
Here you can fill out the text you would like send to the candidate's email. If you click the small plus sign next to the text box, you will have the list of placeholder options you can add in:
Please Note - If you add a placeholder, but the candidate file did not include its contents, it will be left blank. For example, if you have the "comments" placeholder in your automated texts, but you did not have any comments in the rejected employee's profile, it will be blank in the email.
To send this email, in the candidate profile, click 'Reject applicant'. This will prompt you to a new page:
