Can I activate a new employee as a user before their contract start date?

You can have employees access HRWize before their start date, as long as you make them a user. However, the employee's profile will have few differences before and after their start date. 

Your employee will only have access, in the right hand side of the page, the Announcements and To do list.

They would be able to access to their training and any personal details.

They will also have access to the documents page, and the ability to upload mandatory documents prior to their start date. 

Please Note - There are a couple of things to consider before activating a new employee in HRWize as a user before their contract start date. 

1. As it is best to use company email as login for employees, you must have already created a company work email for your new hire;
2. You will have to send the user login credentials to their personal or previous email address if they do not have access to their company email address prior to their start date. 
3. If the step above is the route you take, you will have to give the new employee clear instructions on how to sign in on HRWize and how to change their password, as the initial email upon creation of their account will be sent to their new company e-mail address.
