When creating a report in report builder, it may generate a large amount of output. You can add filters to focus on just the information that meets specific criteria. The type of filter will depend on the field you wish to filter on e.g. text, date, or number. In the case of a field containing a number, there are filter types to compare the recorded data with a criteria or value entered into the filter including:
- Equals
- Not equal
- Greater than
- Less than
and so on. Sometimes though you may wish to just report on if any data exists in a specific field or if no data exists i.e. the field is empty. There are two filter types available for number and decimal fields that will allow you to do this:
- Is Empty
- Is Not Empty
