Continuous Workflow

This workflow type runs on a schedule in the background and only triggers when a rule is met. This currently has 4 trigger options:

1. Changes

This means that if a change is made to any of the options in the drop-down list below, it can trigger the workflow. 

  • Start date;
  • Leave date; 
  • Contract end date; 
  • Resignation date;
  • Last working day;
  • Probation period and date;
  • Address;
  • Bank details;
  • Emergency contact;
  • Employee document upload;
  • Disability status;
  • Registered disability status;
  • Fire warden leaver;
  • Key holder leaver;
  • First aider leaver;
  • Mental health first aider leaver;
  • Data protection officer leaver.

2. Calendar

The Calendar type will trigger a notification when a date is met, such as “1st Monday of every month/week”, or “December 25th of every year”.

For example, if you have team lunch every 2nd Friday of the month, you are able to trigger a reminder e-mail to employees. 

3. Trigger Date

This continuous workflow type will be triggered on a specific date, such as Employees birthdays.

4. Timeoff duration/ Expense cost/ Mileage distance/Mileage cost/Time off instances 

This will trigger a notification for events such as a time off request for sickness of more than X  number of days, an expense report for a specific category, or over a certain value.
